  1. Like the way you posted this Governess!
Tips for this week - if the weather is kind
    Burnie and Rangers to win
UTAS - Knights could be interesting
    City to win away and
Devonport / Ulverstone would be a good game to watch but expect Devonport to collect the points.

  2. Round 13 should be some interesting games, lets hope that all clubs get to play, and the grounds aren't chopped up to much.
Saturday's game should see Burnie be to good for the visiting United, lets hope it's not a blow out.The Allies play Rangers hoping Mitsubishi Park is available, and the Allies,Rangers far to good.
UTas should perform better against Knights, and would want to forget last week.S'set v City,City haven't been playing at their best but will still be to strong for the Sharks.
Port v Ulvie always produces intense football and this week will be no different,Port have been consistant & Ulvie have improved,Port at home.
    Burnie v United 9-0
    Allies v Rangers 9-0
    UTas v Knights 2-2
    S'set v City 1-5
    Port v Ulvie 4-0

  3. Pity so many disruptions this year, makes it hard to know exactly where everyone really is at present.
Grounds will be hit and miss I would say, with mitsubishi park not drained well, and Uni ground will be covered in a thick layer of mud and water.
    Burnie will beat Launny
    Rangers over Allies
    Utas over knights
    City to beat Set
and Port to keep rolling against Ulvie!

    Good luck girls1

  5. well done to all teams this weekend, wish we could have scored more than we did but allies keeper was quite good!
i make apologies for my teams' attitude on the park this afternoon but i would like to take this opportunity to express my absolute disgust in one particular player for the allies who continually tried to start fights with our players. dont get me wrong, im all up for a bit of sledging, but to the extent of this player was imature and totally unnecessary. the last thing wemons soccer needs is thugs who are more interested in starting brawls than playing the great game.

  6. Burnie bt Launceston 7 - 0
Allies lost to Rangers 0-1 Rangers (scoring with only 5 minutes remaining. Chances a plenty but Rangers could not find a way past the Allies keeper.

  7. Hmm, unfortunately this kind of behaviour happens too often. So we need official refs. who have the courage to put a stop to this. Use your cards, don't be afaid. Its dis-respectful to players and spectators and causes even more problems. We all pay to play and enter the ground. We appreciate having officials but certain behaviour needs to be stamped out. This happens in mens & womens games. We want to encourage people to the games. Lets play it in the right spirit & have a drink after and feel good. Well done to all winning teams.

  8. well said rascal! the best games are the ones played properly, however we did have an official ref who may have only been in his teens to afraid to pull up obvious fouls. maybe a silly suggestion, for example if three different teams put in complaint about certain players behaviour the punishment could be given out, but if we cant get proper refs and linesman to every game then i may be wishing a little too much.
