  1. Somerset should bounce back easily here. Their 2s could beat launceston. 5-1

Strikers should account for burnie at valley rd. Although burnie love to take it up to devonport and always make it a tough game. 3-0 strikers.

Prospect and Ulverstone is game of the round. Knights play their home ground well. They sit in behind the ball on the tight ground and then counter with good pace. Cant see ulverstones young strikers getting much space against a disiplined defence. I'll go with 1 - 0 to knights in a tight physical contest.

Rangers should bounce back from a couple of unexpected results. Reckon they'll smash city!!

  2. An undermanned Sharks 2 - 1 v United, injuries etc taking its toll (could be a massive game for us), hopefully get a couple back but lose one of he best again this week, and those playing recently with injuries need to get over them before Saturday?

Devonport 2 - 1 v Burnie (they wear blue in their strip, might fire the Emu's up a bit) :)

Prospect 4 - 1 v Ulverstone, it will take time to recover from last weeks tough match against Devonport, and Seesays pace may be too much for the reds to handle this week??

The Gers had better find some form quickly, otherwise all of the great early work will be undone (if it isn't already)? If City field a young side and their keeper has another big day out, I will tip a 1 - 0 Gers victory???

  3. Somerset to belt Lonnie, they don't seem to play 2 bad ones in a row 8-0
Devonport at home too strong for Burnie 3-0
    Reds to surprise knights 2-1
    Rangers due a win 3-0

Listened to radio interview with A-league proponents and they say that they will lose a $million in 5 years but admit that all their figures are just a guess.

    terrific business plan that !

  4. southern squad.coq kelly coaching.

The Southern men’s squad has been announced for the intrastate series against the North later this month.

    The squad is:

Goalkeepers: Alex Tatnell (Glenorchy Knights), Michael Moschogianis (Clarence United)

Defenders: Liam Scott (South Hobart), Hugh Ludford (South Hobart), Alex Holmes (Glenorchy Knights), Ryan Smith (Tilford Zebras), Andrew Telega (Tilford Zebras), Henry Fagg (Tilford Zebras), Marc Iseli (Kingborough Lions United)

Midfielders: Gary Upton (South Hobart), Shae Hickey (South Hobart), Josh Fielding (Glenorchy Knights), Jade Clay (Gelnrochy Knights), Ricky Self (Tilford Zebras), Charles White (Kingborough Lions United)

Strikers: Julius Ross (South Hobart), Amadu Koroma (Glenorchy Knights), Dwayne Walsh (Tilford Zebras), Luke Cripps (Clarence United), Adam McKeown (New Town Eagles)

    Coach: Eamonn Kelly

    Manager: Daniel Kelly

    Physiotherapist: Leon Van Lierop

There are no representatives from Hobart Olympic or University, while the league’s leading marksman, Ben Crosswell, from Tilford Zebras, has not been included.

It may be that Crosswell has not made himself available for selection, or that he is carrying an injury, but he will be missed.

  7. EASY TIPS THIS WEEK :
Devonport 7 - Burnie 0 (if dev wear there blue strip or yellow strip score will still be 7-0)

Somerset 4 - laun Utd 0 ( bad boys injury stuck side, (so he says) still to stong for the blue boys)
Rangers 3 - Laun City 1 ( Rangers never lose 3 in a row lol)
    match of the rd
Knights 3 - Ulverstone 1 ( Alan & Badboy spot on, counter attack and Seesays pace will win it for them and ulvie havent beaten many if any above them away from the showground !!

  9. ok seems to be working again. Can read a lot of funny comments.Devonport, knights,Somerset and Rangers should be the winners but anything is possible. Two things stand out in here:Red Bull seems to have a definite love for Burnie and Bad Boy may have to change the colour of his team's strip. All the teams carry injuries and Laun Utd may have half their team out this week.
So stop finding funny excuses and the fact is that all teams have good and bad days, some of them more than others.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Kick some ass Toddles, give the Southerners hell (they look to have bl##dy strong squad though)?

Logan, old boy, how are you? good to see your still kicking:)
The Sharks have a few back this week, as you say everyone has been in that boat, not making any excuses, and hopefully none should be needed either this week? As all teams, players carrying injuries dont always perform consistently, and it would have been great for the guys to have a week off now, but that's the luck of the draw?

As for the strip, i would love to have seen our guys wear the Green and White away strip v Burnie, and see if the result was the same:) Dont forget, after 12 games Burnie has only beaten the two teams that wear blue and white???

    ReplyDelete
  11. PS - Red Bull and Logan, I dont coach the Sharks anymore, resigned half way mark this season due to leg/knee operations and I dont watch the games, as it was hard enough while coaching, and would be much more stressful just watching and not doing anything??? Go the Sharks, still plenty to play for now:)

  12. Todd

If you are going to copy something from someone else you should seek permission first AND say where you have copied it from!

Alternatively you could just supply a link to where the information is???

    ReplyDelete
  13. Naughty little Toddles, why do we always seem to upset FFT with everything we do or say up here???

Thanks anyway Todd, I for one appreciated the post:) How long did it take to type that out Todd, so it looked so similar to the "other" site?

Maybe Amazed and co could get on with important matters and stop picking on us over "trivial" things like a young player trying to ""promote"" the South v North game, even though the cog comment may be a bit harsh (hope that wasn't on the other site)???

  16. Any one know the scores how many Somerset got. Who scored for Devonport in their romp over hapless Burnie. Have just discovered this page and thought it would be quicker than the U.K Sunday Papers with your results but perhaps this is not so.

  17. burnie vs devonport game called off after 55 mins due to bad ground conditions , burnie was 1-0 up at the time .
    somerset 4 - laun utd 1
    ulvie 3- knights 1
    rangers 5 - laun city 0

    ReplyDelete
  18. How on earth does a game go on for nearly an hour and then suddenly get called off for bad ground conditions? Begs to beleive! Strikers got out of jail there. What happens to result? Replayed or shared points?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Devonport must have had their blue shorts on Mr John and Red Bull and I think if the game is not played for 55 minutes then it has to be replayed.Have seen Burnie play and makes me laugh when I read some of your comments. All I can think is that your team suffered at their hands at some time.Sharks deserved their win but United seem to be improving.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks for results. We play in snow and blizzards what are your players made of down there

    ReplyDelete
  21. Governess / Bad Boy

I think you should understand that the original author of that information is someone who devotes an enormous amount of time to the promotion of the game in this state.

He is exceptonally upset at Todd not even attributing the piece to the original author.

Its a pity you dont understand the impact plagiarism can have.

    ReplyDelete
  22. logan there is still 35 mins left to play burnie can still lose 7-1

  23. Shocking day for football but great win from ulvy today: noticed not many tipped them (easy tips this week red bull as always!!) Must have got worse and worse at dev today, ref would have been hiding from burnie boys???? Good win from sharks and not sure what happened at Laun city. Competition really heating up.

    ReplyDelete
  24. By the way, stains, best name yet on the blog!!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Strange result to say the least at Valley Rd, did the eastern ground drain block again???

Sharks had a great win Logan, and it shows that Launceston hasn't really improved much when Sharks rested so many injured starting eleven players as follows.

    Steve Wright
    Danny Eaves - George Miller
Nick Reed - Johnno Lo - Tom Roach

I heard that the young guns from the under's and the "older boys" from the reserves had great senior games today (a few debutant's, which shows much more depth than i thought, way to go guys) I am really proud of that effort:)

Amazed, yes i can understand that someone has spent time in placing squads onto FFT site, but not everyone (especially from the north) accesses that site, maybe something like that (promoting our game) should be posted on our site as well by you guys (even a link would be handy). Hopefully the North South goes ahead tomorrow, but I doubt whether the 'A' league guys would want to play on a boggy pitch???

    ReplyDelete
  26. PS - Sorry Logan, forgot that young Toby Skene was having another week off to rest his injury as well, yes no excuses, but we were a BIT SHORT today, oh well Devonport next week, hopefully we can get a late winner???
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Kevin

it wasnt taken from the FFT site - thats the point. someone else took the time to analyse the squad and add some comments - thats what journalists do.

Whilst it is quite amusing that you have formed the view that I am an FFT employee, and he is amused at that as well, I am not. SO my comments are not from an FFT perspective at all, but rather one who has had some decades involved in the game at all levels - as a player, club official, coach, state squads, match official, sports trainer, parent and supporter.

I enjoy your intensely insane parochial comments - but they do highlight the diference between us - I dont care where the good players or coaches come from as long as they all have an equal opportunity to succeed.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Red Bull,
I talked to a friend from Burnie last night who was at the game and his comments were..The sudden cancellation of the game was a shock to everyone and the Dev. supporters were happy once again and smiling. There was no reason the game could not continue for a few more minutes at least to get a result as Burnie had played in much more worse conditions in the past. However he said we respect the decision and hope Devonport ware blue shorts again in the repeated game.As for United Bad Boy they had their best players out through injuries and while I was not there for the early game I was told that United unders got their first win of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  29. What happened between city and rangers and can anyone inform us on the score of the Devonport V Burnie Reserve Game

    ReplyDelete
  30. what a joke at dev.the ground was deemed dangerous to play on,the conditions were little changed from when we started to when the ref made his decision.yes the centre circle was boggy and the ball was sticking when in there, who hasn't played games like that, but as for dangerous, the hard pitches during the summer cup are much more likely to cause injury than a soft muddy one.did the fans get their gate money back(i doubt it )will dev still have to pay for the ref (probably).also spare a thought for dev who had put on a sponsor day and had to try and explain the farse to their bewildered sponsors some of whom are not soccer people.the game was set up for a great last half an hour and could have been a great spectacle for these people that put money into our clubs and sport but instead they've gone home scratching their heads.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Logan, yes our under's lost, we had 4 playing in seniors, along with a couple of our reserves, that's the point mate, it was a great win in the seniors by our guys with only 3 or 4 regular senior players taking the pitch???

Thanks for the clarification Amazed, I had thought that FFT would have posted both squads, now I can see where it had come from, and yes he is a great journalist, loves our game, and his hard work is much appreciated by all (state-wide).

As for you not being a direct FFT employee, if that is true then there is only one other person that you can be, so sorry I was unable to attend the assessments for the senior license due to my ongoing injury? As i stated back then, had it been done a year earlier when I could drive, walk, stand and had some movement then I may have been accredited at that time? Now for me personally, due to the fact that I will be unable to coach for some time, I guess that I will have to go back to the "Junior, Youth and Senior"" courses and again renew everything (like I have twice already) just to coach junior development teams, let alone seniors again???

As for parochialism, yes it may be true, but after being involved directly over the last 26 years with juniors etc. I get very upset when NW players are not treated the same or given equal opportunities as Southern players (or those who can afford or make the big decision to move south)??? I too only want the game to improve and the better ones realise their dreams?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Captain Australia, Todd and co, sounds like the GERS bounced back well, now dont let it slip again :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. if our results are not up here, you can always find them at http://www.northernrangers.com/reports.html
try to have them up Saturday night, depends on wether I have a few beers or not. at the very least, they would be on Walters site, as I ring him through the results each week.

any how, Rangers won 4-0 with Townsend getting a double, one of which camed off his ball bag which is a club first! Nicholson and Nugteren getting the other two!

hope it is a return to form, the boys did come out firing this week after sitting on their hands last week against River and getting a football lesson from Olympic! however, Ulvie will be the true test in a few weeks, in the mean time, its getting ready for sharks in the SWC

    ReplyDelete
  34. by the way, I understand Walters displeasure with his work being cut and pasted on here, but it is the internet and alot of poeple are not familiar with eticate, let alone plagerism. Relax, at least his site is getting a plug as a result which is found at
    http://walterplessonsoccer.blogspot.com/

Most of the time poeple right (from walters site) but on this occassion it was missed by Todd, get over it! we all know now and its not like the poster was trying to gain some kind of advatage from it either.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Good post Scipio. Obviously the Burnie boys not entirely happy (quite rightly so I would say). Given the fact that you've been around for a few years now I'd say you'd have a reasonable capacity to assess the conditions.
Will the game be replayed? Why is it that it took the first half + ten minutes to determine the conditions were unsafe?
Just on another much more important note (in world game standards!) - due to an overwhelming amount of absentees from all three Ulvy teams yesterday the Ressies welcomed back out of retirement (AGAIN) of President Rudy and Kirky. Luckily the senior team has a youthful flavour to keep the club's average age below 50!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks for clearing up the game Scip, be interesting to hear from the official who made the decision so late in a game, when the result would have stood if he had allowed it to go another 10 minutes or so?

Oh well, everyone just has to move on and hopefully the match is replayed at some stage, even if the results don't enter into the final standings at years end, as the leading goal scorers, club and association votes etc will be affected for sure???

Good to hear from you as well Captain Australia, bet the beer tasted better this weekend - Go the Sharks :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Actually the beer still tasted sheit!

Nothing like a bit of debate to get the old forum going again!

    ReplyDelete
  38. My info on the Dev/Burnie game is that the Ref got it pretty right. He assessed the pitch conditions at half time and spoke to both team managements that he was concerned. Both teams continued to play very aggressively and this led to his decision that the pitch conditions did not allow for this type of play.
I'm sure we have all played on worse pitches, but players must learn to adapt to them and if they play with reckless abandon then it is the referees task to ensure players do not get injured in this situation.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Right on Captain Australia:)

I hope it hasn't put Todd off posting on this site again, like you said his intentions were only to inform us of the Southern squad???

Like I said previously, maybe FFT could post the full squads and all info on their site and the Governess can add it to ours if they send it through??? Oh well, I am sure that what ever we say on here, someone gets upset?

As for Nigel's post backing the officials decision, probably a fair call, but don't refs have cards and the ability to send off those who don't abide by the rules, why call a game off when they should have control anyway???

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just wrote the longest post in blog history & when i hit the post comment tab the page shat itself so i'll have a crack at a shortened version!!

Nigel & Bad Boy, some of the wording of your earlier posts seem to indicate that it was a physical game & dangerous due some of the tackles. This is in no way correct! Sacha didn't have any reason to consider pulling out his cards all day and the game was played in great spirit from both teams. Yes the ground was awful but I have played in worse.

When a referee is making a decision on abandoning a game he should only take into consideration his reasons for abandonment not how many minutes of the match had elpsed. We were disapointed in the decision to disallow our two first half goals but there wasn't much we could do about that either.

I can certainly understand Burnie being upset about the games abandonment but we werent celebrating it either. We were confident of coming back from a goal down at half time for the second week in a row but i guess we'll never know how it would've ended. If Burnie got away with a victory it'd be hard to argue that they deserved a win. The same could be said about Devonport if we were good enough to get up. We'll just have to wait and see what happens about replay.
That's me done (remember, this was the shortend version)!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I would think that the referee takes the same attitude as the cricket umpires with bad light, they don't wait till the fast bowler hits a batter before they stop play.
It's too late once a player breaks a leg to stop the game, I would think both Chris and Scipio would appreciate that more than most.

More importantly I ask why are so many games being postponed, we play a winter sport but it seems that a lot of grounds are being over watered in summer to allow players a better surface for pre season and summer cups and then this means that they become water logged nd unplayable in winter.

Maybe clubs need to re think their summer maintanence.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks Chris, so the decision sounds as if it was only due to the ground conditions then, and not a game getting out of control as Nigel had stated.

I am sure that both would be disappointed with the game being abandoned, hopefully the replay goes ahead and its just as close a game (be good to watch).

Had the same access problem as well Chris, seems to be gremlins on this site at the moment, i had alarms going off everywhere???

    ReplyDelete
  43. Does anyone no the score of the reserve game of Dev and Burnie

    ReplyDelete
  44. well i'd like to say sorry to walter.next time i shall say where i got it from. would have said sorry earlier but i've been trying to catch up on lost sleep.

ulvie seemed to have a good win across the rd yesterday.good win for the gers.dev/burnie game must have been wet then.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not 100% certain Governess but I think it was around 4 or 5 nil to Devonport

    ReplyDelete
  46. Todd - hopefully no harm done and I'm pretty sure you had all the best intentions. Hard to be fully aware of what rules apply in blog land!
Always good to keep up to date on Tassie football . We're pretty well starved of such info - Walter's been a pioneer of football journalism here in Tassie - more so in 'the big smoke'.
Probably would be good to get a few comments in here about the Ressies - a melting pot of up and comers, training recalcitrants or on-the-way-outers!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well put Mitch, head up Todd, we know that you meant no harm. Both you guys had good wins by the sounds of it, can't undo the past so lets all look forward.

Great idea of adding under's and reserves to the blog, maybe the governess might add comment forums for those as well as the Women's and Men's games, might add a spark or two???

    ReplyDelete
  48. Sorry Bad Boy, never meant to imply the game or players were out of control, just that they weren't playing to the conditions.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Say what you want about Sasa's decision to call off the game! the guy has got the Forum back up and running!

Wont say I agree with his call, but I wasnt there so I cant really comment. What I will say, is the guy is the finest referee we have in the north as far as I am concerned! keep it up Sasa!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Note from this page fixtures not happening. Are all the grounds in your league in marsh bog or low lying areas. Or is it that cricket (may I dare to say that word) is played on mud introduced wickets that turn the centre of your grounds into a quagmire in the winter

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yep - the decision to abandon doesn't quite sit well with me but I wasn't there and know only what I've heard 'on the grapevine', from the paper and on here.
Have to agree though, Sasa is the best ref going around up this end of the state. His decisions are usually made in a calm and informed manner. He needs all the support and encouragement he can get from all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I may have to tell our friend John that it may pay him to come here down-under to learn a bit about us and stop throwing empties as obviously he knows next to nothing about us.Have a good day and you are welcome as we need something like you to move us along.by the I live in Launc. and friends with United people but originally from that lovely place called Burnie and followed the EMUs for years and they are still my number one team.
As for you Red Bull forget Spain and come back to Tasmania!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. to blame the players for being very aggressive i feel is an unjustified and unfair cop out.i agree with Kenny that the game was played in great spirit and that there were no incidents that looked like yellows and no reason to believe that was going to change, the attitude of the players was great and didn't change from the first half to when the game was stopped.the game was not stopped after any tackling incident but when the ball got bogged in the centre circle being passed between burnie players.to blame the players as i said unfair.
Kenny, was that a dollar each way on who was going to win,yes you were a little unlucky and we missed a couple, a draw probably a fair result at that stage, still feel no matter if we were 1-0 up or you 6-0 up we could have and should have finished the game.see you in the replay

    ReplyDelete
  54. The real drama with all this, is that with a state final series starting on Aug 22nd and Burnie due to play a catch up game v City on the next cup weekend when does this game get played. Dont think midweek is an option at Valley Road havent seen the lights for a while. Devonports game obviously has a bearing on the championship and the final 4 state series, due to start Aug 22nd. If I were scheduling at FFT, I then would be rescheduling the Burnie v City game from July25th to Aug 22nd as this game has no bearing on the final series, both are gunna miss out!

Move the one off Burnie V Devonport game to July 25th as this obvious has a bearing on a couple of fronts.

I know this may not be popular with some clubs, but may be the only way to handle this situation and allow the season to continue as rostered. As I see it Devonport, Somerset, Rangers, Ulvie, Knights and River are the only sides that can participate in the finals now.

    My two bobs worth.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh - Scipio, stop it, you crack me up, Burnie players not aggressive.....HA Ha Ha Ha

    ReplyDelete
  56. Great option Gers Pres, you are certainly switched on mate. Why don't you send it off to FFT, only way out of the mess up north, at least in the big smoke they can play mid week catch up, but from all accounts their cancellations are way more than ours?

As for Sasha, he is a great improving young ref, but I believe that Parr is the standout from Launceston, his understanding of advantage should be copied by all, including that "other" football code :) Cannot understand why Crocker doesn't get all senior games as well, but I guess there is protocol and politics involved in everything now days?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Quite right mr Logan I know little about you and the way you do things. unsure what FFT is all about but get the idea from Gers Pres that he wants to run the show. It looks as if the result of a replayed game would have some bearing on promotion, league title or relegation and just maybe his club could be involved. Unsure where your league tables are published or what a finals series is all about. This is an interesting web site. Yours in football

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi John, Gers Pres is only offering ideas, he works hard for the North as well as his club and is doing a great job promoting or game.

The FFT (the state ruling body) along with all Premier League clubs decided to play a State-wide final series, involving the top 4 clubs from the North and South of the state at the end of the roster. This replaces the State Premiership title, usually decided by one game between the North and South Premier League champions.

The new format is similar to Aussie Rules (local football code). Devonport is in top spot and could finish 1st - 2nd or 3rd, depending on that abandoned game and other results etc, so his idea has great merit.

Yes its not like the good old days where we played in 6 inches of mud as now days many councils won't allow their grounds to be overused or ruined, pity, but we just have to deal with it???

Site only new, there was a state-wide site but that fell through and the governess is doing a great job keeping this site up and running. Captain Australia has always kept it interesting and gives us a bit of fun, but it can also be used to suggest ideas of improving the competition etc. Good luck deciphering this :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. John if you are from the U.K. as you state, then this may help:
FFT site has rosters, ladders etc for our comps - found at www.footballfedtas.com.au - it is based in Hobart, the states capital if interested?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thanks Bad Boy!

John as Bad Boy says I am only throwing ideas around regarding how we sort out the mess with an overcrowded roster due to cancellations and not a lot of space to move.

My obvious point as I do understand where all teams stand in the scheme of things, is that Devonport need to have played all their games by Aug 22nd so as the make up of finals is know, as Bad Boy says depending on there last 4 games Port can finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd thus effecting which Hobart side they would play week one of the finals and where!

Burnie and City who both will miss this years finals 7th and 8th respectively could play their game on Aug 22nd when the finals are due to start. Makes commonsense to me, but is just my opinion mate. Certainly have no ambitions to run FFT or many reasons!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. First of all many thanks Bad Boy for your detailed explanation. I am at a loss to know why you call yourself bad boy as it is obvious you are any thing but. On the other hand I am very suspicious that although he addresses me as his friend Mr Logan may not be all that friendly.
Having a brief look at your situation it appears the sport has had unequal development big in the south little else where. It looks to me as if the regional league like yours should be looking after itself and not relying on a remote administration.
A part time secretary with modern means of communication could surely control a nine team league.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Will just call you John then,
When you enter this forum without knowing much about us and you call my team hapless I don't know what else you expect and to be honest I think you are not what you are trying to tell us and you know a lot more. Keep your contribution up and good to have shit stirrers and i may be one of them.I do not take any offence on the forum as we all write what we think and enjoy the funny parts of it.A great bravo to the Rangers for starting it.Keep it up

    ReplyDelete
  63. Good morning Australia Mr Logan I do not contribute to this forum as a stirrer more as an interested observer and the last thing I wish to do is give offence. You may be aware that the Australian Matches on on our UK football pools this time of the year. With that in view, on finding this forum I was very interested in the results forcast and reading Devonport 7 Burnie 0 I would have thought a local opinion would justify the term hapless. However the final result turned a 7-0 win for Devonport into a 1-0 likely defeat. Hapless is history, so much for the local expert.

  64. A little tip for you John, Burnie on their day could match it with anyone, its whether they have a go or not on a particular day that decides their results, much depends upon their better 4, Kaimon and Astyn Johnson, Ashley Smith and Andy Gibson???

Devonport and Rangers are the quality teams, and Riverside Olympic will always have close matches (they have a super quick midfield), the Sharks have been riddled with injuries this season, as I suspect Prospect Knights are as well, and Ulverstone are the big improver, taking a few by surprise (myself included, as I didnt rate them a chance of a top 4 finish early on in the year). Of the rest, like I said Burnie can do anything and City seem to have two squads, an older and a younger group, so depends on conditions and who is playing etc, Launceston unfortunately have been down near the bottom for some time, but hopefully next year a few players who changed clubs may move back and help the youngsters out and even things up a bit???

As for Logan, i have a feeling he is impersonating someone respected up north (maybe like yourself), but that adds to the banter on this site???

  65. Sorry Bad Boy but I do not try to impersonate anyone.Obviously you have past experience and a suspicious mind.Logan is not my surname but one of my two first names. You are right about Burniebut this happens with any team with the same circumstances and if i remember they beat your team twice this year and then lost games where they were supposed to win. This is the name of the game.Hope to be in Burnie this weekend and will be watching at Montello.Good luck to your team playing Devonport.
Thanks for the comments John and wecome.Hope you are a.......Man. United fun.

I was in England in december - Drove 3 1/2 hours north to Birmingham to watch Wolves and Birmingham...1 Vs 2! As I was driving past the sign post that welcomed me to Birmingham, I heard on the radio "Game cancelled due to frozen pitch..." I was rather disappointed...
