burnie strong at home and south because they can
ReplyDeleteAgree with Toddles,Burnie against the reigning cup and state champions 2 - 1, while Eagles will push the strong South but South to win 2 - 0?

ReplyDeletegreat game, good skills, quick and plenty of strong stuff. Pity Burnie missed an early chance, as they then scored 3 quality goals shortly after and Burnie only managed one just before half time, after dominating for long periods. Half time 1 - 3
ReplyDeleteIn the second half Burnie continued to take it up to the southerners and managed another couple of beauties to equalize, but then the weather deteriorated and the pitch became slippery and Clarence got a penalty with around 10 to go and Burnie lost 4 - 3.
All in all i thought that Burnie probably should have won, but their defense weren't on song for most of day and then if you miss 4 one on ones in a game, you are bound to lose a close one?
