North West Summer Cup At Valley Road 13/3/10

Somerset V Ulverstone

Devonport V Burnie

  1. Keegan Wells returns this week for the Sharks, which will help strengthen the team. Watched a couple of training sessions and some of the youngsters are starting to hit "senior like" form, so should beat Ulvie (guess their better boys will be rested for the Steve Hudson cup final against the extremely strong South Hobart).

Devonport and Burnie clash in the final pre-season cup match and maybe the game will go the distance and actually finish unlike a late roster match from last year? Tipping Burnie in an upset as I expect several Port regulars may be rested now that they have made final?

That would make a Port v Sharks final, again?

  3. i feel im a big friend of ulverstone and purely on the basis that i wish them no ill, however they need to be proactive in the promotion of a particular player,in his personal interests. i watched him again today and for such a young player,he is still able to take a leading and affirmative role. i personally dont believe today told us too much other than matty sessay has got em by the goolies. well done ulvie,

  6. Who wins this weekend then?

Devonport in a tight one for me, 2-1. Best of luck to both teams though.
