  1. burnie to do it prety easy again, 4-0

    River will go 2 from 2 5-0

Think Knights will possibly bounce back and do the sharks, partly because Nigel and Bad boy can never tip the Gers! 3-0 if Innis plays in goals

Reckon Dev will get over Ulvie 3-2

  2. Think Innis is off overseas so there may be more pain for the knights. Somerset 4-1

    City 2 Burnie 1

    United 0 Riverside 6

    Devonport 3 Ulverstone 1

River to enjoy this one 7-1
Port still the team to beat, Reds will need to step up from last week Port 4-1

  6. I only took your advice captain, you said you had lost a lot of players and had young ones coming up??? Either I misread your early posts or the young guns were on fire?

Hopefully all clubs find that not too many players away for Easter, as that could throw up some funny results?

    Burnie 4 - 1 over revitalized City
River 9 - 0 over poor old Launie
Sharks 3 - 0 if Knights has same keeper and he has another shocker, otherwise Duffy to get winner :)
    Devonport 6 - 0 over Ulvie

  7. Going to be a close season and if I was a gambling man, I would now have premiers betting book like this (after round one)

    Burnie 5 - 4
    Devonport 6 - 4
    Riverside 2 - 1
    Rangers 3 - 1
    Knights 6 - 1
    City 8 - 1
    Ulverstone 10 - 1
    Sharks 16 - 1
    Launceston 500 - 1

Then again, I thought that Duffy would assist Knights to the title this year :(

  9. He's OK Toddles, tries hard and is handy, just keeping it going a bit :)

Have you worn that grass skirt since your last visit, gotta get a photo :)

  10. Todd is right, the kid is the most over rated player since...... well I dont know who. Fine futsal player, brings nothing to the out door game. you boys wouldnt tip us last year, shouldnt matter what I said, yep we lost a bit, but still think we have a squad worhty of giving it a shake this year!

  11. i must be mellowing, or i support the players that are picked for the weekend.nah, its just me saying even given that young sam cassidy's performance didnt measure up to that of which was expected of him,he was not on his pat malone. todd is youre comment on duffy, based on a desire to promote yourself ,or your team ,because if it based on actual playing ability ,leave that alone and get on with the game,it seems the... need... is youre own.knights had many return after cricket finals this week, sadly chris beardwood wasnt one of them, i am however still holding my breath.rangers still looking very good.that is based on last weeks performance.a real handy core group, of marshall pooley, sam luck, derrick schipper, todd hingston and paul bremmner, not such a bad start for next week.good luck to all teams this week. and to those that have to go to hobart on monday to play in the ..statewide.. cup. 13. Hope that last week's win does not go to Burnie's players heads as City is always a good opponent no matter what.We do have a better team this year but the title is won on the field of play and not with names.
Hope to be there and watch the game.

  14. Take a look at my post round 1 "betting card" Captain, I have the Gers in the top four mate. Sorry if I hadn't tipped em that much last year, but after losing 1 - 0 to Sharks ressies at home last season they put me off, but still collected the spoils and that's what its all about. Will endeavor to tip em a few more times this year though :)

Orlando, Burnie are fast and experienced and have had a few big wins of late, one in the league over Launnie and two big wins over Devonport and Ulvie in the cup, scoring 25 for and only 1 against - deserve early favoritism? However this week will see where they really are, as Logan says City no push over and could still be this seasons surprise packet?

  16. After reviewing this weeks results there are three that I have firmed in betting for this years title: Ulvie (with narrow loss), Sharks (good win) & the Gers (without playing). So the new book after week 2 is as follows:

    Burnie 6 - 4
    Riverside 2 - 1
    Devonport 9 - 4
    Rangers 5 - 2
    Ulverstone 8 - 1
    Knights 10 - 1
    City 10 - 1
    Sharks 10 - 1
    Launceston 500 - 1
