  1. Stewey - I hear what you are saying - guess we will have to agree to disagree.
By following your interpretation guess I will be providing a sub-standard game on Sat.V Burnie
I have 4 players unavailable and now have 5 players struggling with bad cold/flu so I am unable to field my best team and cannot ask for a postponment as I need to provide 14 days notice as per FFT:

    13.4 Postponed Matches

vii) Clubs may request the postponement of any fixture if the Company
receives such a request fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled date of
the match. Whilst the Company shall endeavour to accommodate such
requests, they will not be automatically granted.
viii) Where the Company grants such a postponement the match shall be
played at a date and a time suitable to the opposing team not requesting
the postponement and a new date has to be agreed prior to any
    postponement being granted.
ix) Each team can only postpone one (1) match per season, after which any
    further requests.. . .

and there is no way the other girls will want to forfeit.

    This weeks tips:
    Northern Rangers v Burnie United
a tight game - Rangers to win.
    UTAS v Launceston City
could be closer than imagined, player availability and ground conditions could play a part - City to win.
    Ulverstone v Somerset
good coastal derby game - Ulvie to win
Launceston United v Launceston City Allies
hard to say but will take Allies to win
Hope the weather improves for everyone and all enjoy playing.

  2. Why is it that rangers were detucted 3 pts for having 1 too many subs on the bench (which is a new rule i beleive)but its ok for other teams to break the rules, ie creating there on roster/fixture requesting game changes less the 14 days notice???? seems unfair to me. if you cant field a side then tough luck.

  3. Also the fixture is handed out at begining of season so if players cant make themselves available for games then who's fault is that? I feel sorry for the committed teams who are either organised or a prepared to play during longweekends & holidays.
anyways its all healthy discussion & learning curves.

  4. Burnie came to Launceston to take on Rangers and Won! As for the game itself a diservdly win. Rangers 1 Burnie 2 - A game without any trouble (except for the ref) which we all need LOL.
No disrespect to Burnie this was an entertaining game and they were wanting the result a bit more. Under the circumstances and with all things being equal a fair result.
At least the game was played and in full spirit of the game.
