  4. Captain Australia, not a bad line up, but may have missed a few like Mark Baker, Greg Duffy, John Lo, Casey Eaves, Kaimon Johnson, Ashley Smith, Astyn Johnson, Chris Smith (Ulvie keeper) etc etc etc - like you said see who stands for selection first, and then who would be available for the strenuous state team duties post season, but we do have some great talent in the North, at least 30 or more could do a great job and kick the southern butts???

    Tips for this week:-
    Ulverstone 1 - City 1
    Sharks 3 - Burnie 1
    River 2 - Devonport 2
Rangers 1 - Prospect 2 - sorry mate but i really rate the way their team plays? Be a great game, might even get to see it myself???

  9. Burnie 3 - Somerset 2
Cracker of a match, Burnie scored early and went in 1 up at half time. Sharks missed a tap in and then went 3 down after 2 quick Burnie goals, simply failed to man up.
Somerset pulled one back with 10 to go and then really hammered Burnie's goal with a miss from a metre and then a header off the cross bar. A terrific match that either team could have won. Spoilt a little by some puzzling at times refereeing decisions.
Ressies saw Somerset 2-0 winners despite going down to 10 men in the first half.
    Unders a tame 0-0 contest.
