  3. Gers 3 - 1 in a game they cannot take lightly, take it easy and anything can happen?

Riverside 3 - 1 to settle the shape of the four at this early stage?

Burnie has troubled Devonport over the last few encounters, but no Kaimon, Jeremy & co, so Devonport 3 - 1?

A depleted, but rested Sharks should get the points in a close 3 - 1 match?

  7. No, It was a mad spectators game. Hard, Physical...but should have been over by half time. Rangers should have slotted 8 or more in the first half, so bad by us. Should have had 4 penalties though. Macri played very well (even though I think he's a #$$%#$) City will trouble teams from now on in i'm sure. River lost 3-2 after being 2-0 up. Chris Parr the "villain" giving away a penalty. but if you're 2 nil up, you can't blame a ref. dev won 4-1 quite sure.

  8. Quote from Brayden's FB page: "What a game! Just won soccer against riverside 3-2! We were down 2-0 with 15 to go and came back, best game i've ever been in! Scored 3 but so pumped we won!"
Well done Ulvy! Fantastic effort! (Hope you didn't mind me posting you here Jez?)

  9. launceston 3-4 against somerset-wouldnt have thought that.i was thinking like gibbles at 6-0 however they, launceston, seem to have represented themselves quite well on the day, through all three divisions. burnies ambitions of a title seem to have come to an end with todays results; i will have to leave it up to bad boy to frame those odds. well done ulvie, comebacks like that are gold,if that david was david mitchell i would like to hear his thoughts on the game.

  10. Hi Becks

Unfortunately I'm not best placed to give a match report - I wasn't there (though I wish I was - sounds like it was a cracker!). After having plans to coach the ressies this year an increase in work demands threw a major spanner in the works and I've been unable to fulfil this commitment. Quite disappointed about this personally but the club keeps going. I haven't managed to even get to a game! With Ulvy due a few home ones soon I'll be getting along to the Showgrounds for a look. Competition looks pretty open this year. Bad Boys odds need serious revision.

  12. river scored in the first 5 min. will guy cut in from the edge of the area and slid the ball into the near post. stayed 1-0 till half time... river scored with about 20 left to go 2-0 up. a fast break ended with mark cristy rounding the keeper and scoring but looked to be a mile offside and rivers linesman didnt stick the flag up... ulvie boys got pretty animated and delayed the game a bit. then ulvie scored about 2 min after the kick off. long through ball was sent over the river defence and mann slotted it. then with about 8 min to go kyle baldock got shoved in the back while contesting a header. parr awarded a penalty and mann slotted it. it was neck and neck with both teams looking for a winner but then substitute sam wood roke loose on the right wing and swung a low cross in and mann flicked the ball into the top corner for a well deserved win for the ulvie boys

  13. Been in Qld, but heard of most results, so we need another premiership price update now:

    Knights 1 - 1
    Devonport 5 - 4
    River, Rangers 7 - 4
    Ulvie 2 - 1

    Burnie 10 - 1
    Somerset 16 - 1
    City 20 - 1
    Launceston 500 - 1

Pretty sure I did state that Gers needed to take chances or City will take some beating? Oh well, lesson learnt I hope Captain, surely they had some shooting drills this week?

WAY TO GO BRAYDEN, when do you head to mainland, someone find the boy a trial quickly???
