  2. Easy tips this week :
    Rangers 10- Laun utd 0
    Burnie 6 - somerset 0
    laun city 1 - dev 1
    knights 1 - riverside 2

  3. The mighty Gers to nearly get double figures,
9 - 0 winners over the improving Launnie, is that better Captain Australia???

Too many out for Sharks and no depth at club at moment, should fight to the end, but Burnie 5 - 1 winners.

Devonport 4 - 1 over City (heard Burnie missed at least five last week).

River (best start in years) to get third straight win with a 2 - 0 victory over the Knights (unless they can field full strength team this week, and perform first half)?

First week in ages that young Brayden wont score :)When is he heading over that stretch of water???

  8. Keep it up mark. Rangers will miss Bremner, Schipper and Hingston this week, in a big way, but will still be too strong I think!

    Dev 3-0
    Burnie 4-0
    River 3-2

  9. surely thats taking the piss. have launy scored more than 2 goals this year let alone in one game.

  10. Some good games this weekend! However, could be ruined by the weather...a fair bit of rain is forecast...

Dev 2-1 if raining, 4-1 if not. Night game there too, should be a big crowd...if the weather holds off...
Somerset upset Burnie in the NW Cup earlier in the year...and being the local derby this game will be closer than most people think! Still, Burnie 3-2.
    River to beat Knights.
If raining Rangers 4-0, if not 10-0.

  15. well TODD you have no place to hide lonnie 2 goals and had rangers in a flap for the second half of the game.this team are only going to get better as time goes by so LOOK OUT

  16. well i must say sorry MR X. but putting rangers in a flap is having a laugh. and they wont be going to far at all playing that high up the park at all. quality will pull it apart

  18. Sorry, but launnie were very very average, luckily for launnie Rangers had a howler. Don't see them picking up any points this year...

  19. Fair to say that the Launny Keeper kept it from a blow out, and for the first time in many years, the Rock had a game not up to his standard, Congrads to the young launny side for sticking with Rangers, but the game never felt in doubt. You are correct Mr X, Launny will improve, they have to, it cant go much further backwards, and the kids look like they actually want to be out there, so thats a good thing. Keep it going, but your gonna have to try and atract some players next year, or at least stop any of the good ones going up to Knights!

  20. Which team is top of our senior league table and where can one see the different tables

    ReplyDelete
  21. poor old duffy ,futsal player one week, then a good one next week.

  22. Good to see the Knights showing some true form, must have been a great game to watch, did Duffy score???

Good to see Launnie bagging a couple, so Captain Aust, if the Rock has another ordinary effort, then you might get a chance between the sticks?

Sharks rebuilding this year and dont have great depth, while Burnie still favourites for the title?

Devonport will always be there, and with Kenny in another purple patch maybe another flag.

  23. Dont think the club will ever let me play seniors as a keeper, will move heaven and earth to avoid it!

Heard Kenny scored a cracker, and as long as you have a good striker with people able to get balls to him, in this league you will give it a shake, And BB, what the heck is with you and Duffy!

  24. He's a good kid, and can play, like his strong work ethic, was great to coach in State team, but so were most.

Also tipped him to score once last year and he did, about the only thing i ever got right
    :)

  26. anyone know what smithy got sent off for in the burnie v city game? Just watched the show and it wasn't in the highlights but heard them say he got a red card.

Burnie look handy this year. De Bomford (although injury didn't look good), Smith and Cocks massive in's for them. Look forward to seeing them first hand later in the year.

  27. Apparantly he elbowed someone. I was at the game, but I didn't see anything. The people next to me said that's the reason...but if anyone could confirm that'd be good!
