Another Season Comes To An End

Congratulations to Northern Rangers for Back to Back Titles and I do Believe Congratulations Also go To Launceston City Women for title Number Six,

Now its time for the Final Four all the best to all Northern And North West Clubs Involved Lets hope the Title comes were it Belongs this year up to the North/NorthWest.

To all the clubs thanks for a great year and all the best in the off Season hope to see you all around again next year.

Please tell us your thoughts on the George Dale Medal and who will win, your thoughts on who will be this years Referee of the year not many to choose from though.

Also who will take your Clubs Best and Fairest

Again a big thank you to all that participated on the Blog this year I will be back Next Year Hope Fully with some new ideas any ideas you may have please put forward.

    I'd say Toddy would be a decent chance to get it the second year running... especially bagging a lot more goals than last year. Kenny always poles well, and Brayden might go ok with his golden boot...Surprise packet might be Andrew (the pigeon) nicholson. Had an absolutely stellar season for rangers...I'm just glad I didn't have to defend against him.

    Lets hope the north can do better in the finals this season than last, when all 4 teams went out in week 1

    Games will be:

    Rangers v Clarence NTCA
    Devonport v Glenorchy Valley Road
    South Hobart v Burnie or Riverside KGV
    Hobart Zebras v Burnie or Riverside KGV

    3rd and 4th in NPL yet decided with Riverside and Burnie swapping places should they get up against Devonport in catch up game this weekend.

    So this week first week of the state championship is as follows, actually 3 repeats or last year with River, Devonport and Rangers all playing indentical fixtures to 2009.

    South Hobart v Riverside KGV
    Hobart Zebras v Burnie KGV
    Devonport v Glenorchy Valley Road
    Northern Rangers v Clarence NTCA

    Well done to the Gers on winning the title again this year, top effort guys.

    As the Rangers Pres has stated, three teams play same Southern teams as last year, now lets hope the northern clubs have learned from last years matches?

    My selections are:

    South 2 - 0
    Burnie on penalties
    Devonport 2 - 1
    Rangers 3 - 1
