After 2 weeks of forfeits and time changes, and last week end with no womens games played on the Coast,Maybe just maybe I might get to finally see a game this week end.
ReplyDeleteThe much improved Sharks to thump United.
Allies to give Ulvie Black a touch up,
Strikers to win if Knights turn up,
City easy over Gers,
Ulvie Red should prevail over River,
Burnie to do a demolishion job on the students. It's a shame the standard of the game has deteriated a lot from last year but hopefully some of the younger teams will improve in the coming weeks.
maybe FFT's idea of two six team leagues may have provided all teams with better games??
ReplyDeleteTend to agree as it may have allowed more teams to join into the lower division as well.
ReplyDeleteAt the same time lifting the standard for the Div 1 teams and providing stiff competition every match.
most clubs didnt want a two tier league, but the league is poor at the moment with so many one sided matches!
ReplyDeleteAm sure FFT would accommodate a split into two leagues for rest of season if clubs could agree -- in the interests of the game??
